Peking University Shenzhen Hospital (PKUSZH), founded in 1999, is a modern Class A tertiary comprehensive public hospital (Grade III-A) invested and built by the Shenzhen Municipal Government. Located in the central area of Futian District, the hospital covers an area of 59,000 square meters and features 1,800 available beds. It is widely recognized as "the most beautiful hospital in Shenzhen" due to its evergreen environment. The hospital boasts strong clinical capabilities, with key specialties including Urology (a national key discipline), Stomatology, Critical Care Medicine, and Endocrinology. For international patients, the hospital offers a dedicated International & VIP Health Center on the 6th floor of the Outpatient Building. This center provides specialized medical care, VIP health check-ups, and health management services in a comfortable environment. It is a designated healthcare provider for foreign visitors and expatriates, offering services like direct insurance billing, dedicated coordinators, and multilingual support. While the hospital is not JCI accredited, it recently passed the Chinese International Hospital Accreditation (CIHA) in April 2026, which is an international standard on par with JCI.
